Product principle:
The ultrasonic hole and groove detection device consists of a tablet computer (or laptop), a battery box, an ultrasonic probe, a depth measurement device, and a lifting mechanism. The ultrasonic probe, depth measurement device, and lifting mechanism are integrated on the online frame and pulled by two steel wire ropes. The tablet is wirelessly connected to the cable rack.
The aperture slot width adopts ultrasonic emission distance measurement method: the ultrasonic probe descends uniformly from the aperture under the control of the lifting device, and the depth measurement device measures the depth of the probe and transmits it to the host. The host controls the ultrasonic emission probe to emit ultrasonic waves according to the set time interval and synchronously starts timing. The host starts the high-speed and high-precision signal collector to collect ultrasonic signals according to the set sampling delay and sampling rate. Due to the fact that the acoustic impedance of mud is much lower than that of soil (or rock) media, ultrasonic waves undergo total reflection on several borehole walls. The reflected waves propagate through the mud and are received by the receiving transducer. The time when the reflected waves arrive is the propagation time of ultrasonic waves in the mud inside the borehole. By calculating the distance between the ultrasonic transducer and the borehole wall based on the propagation time, the aperture value and verticality of the cross-section can be determined. Ultrasonic velocity is calibrated through the orifice.
