2、 Introduction to aramid fiber

The outstanding properties of aramid fiber are its high strength, high modulus, and excellent heat resistance. At the same time, it also has appropriate toughness for textile processing. The weight to tensile strength of standard PPTA aramid is 6 times that of steel wire, 3 times that of fiberglass, and 2 times that of high-strength nylon industrial yarn; Its tensile modulus is 3 times that of steel wire, 2 times that of fiberglass, and 10 times that of high-strength nylon industrial yarn; After 100 hours at 200 ℃, it can still maintain 75% of its original strength, and after 500 hours at 160 ℃, it can still maintain 95% of its original strength.
