The GRS2000 shear pump horizontal pipeline single-stage emulsion pump is an equipment that efficiently, quickly, and uniformly transfers one or more phases (liquid, solid, gas) into another immiscible continuous phase (usually liquid). Under normal circumstances, each phase is immiscible with each other.

Ultra high speed shear pumpThe three groups of emulsion heads (stator+rotor) in the working chamber work at the same time. After high shearing, the lotion drops are more delicate and the particle size distribution is narrower, so the stability of the ultrahigh generated mixed liquid is better. The three sets of dispersing heads are easy to replace and suitable for different process applications. The different models of machines in this series have the same line speed and shear rate, making it very easy to scale up production. It also meets the CIP/SIP cleaning standards and is suitable for food and pharmaceutical production.

Shear pump combination scheme
1. Batch (intermittent) emulsification scheme:
This solution is a traditional solution, similar to traditional equipment, with a line speed of around 20 meters per second, batch emulsification and dispersion, machine compliance with FDA standards, vertical design, easy cleaning and operation, and stable operation. Mechanical seal to avoid contact with materials. (This plan is suitable for small-scale production)

2. Pipeline emulsification solution: This solution is a traditional solution, similar to traditional equipment, with a line speed of 20 meters per second, three-stage emulsification dispersion, and a machine that meets FDA standards. It adopts a vertical design, is easy to clean and operate, and runs stably. Dual mechanical seals, capable of long-term operation. Compared with traditional horizontal equipment, the speed is slightly higher and the shear force is stronger. The particle size distribution is concentrated. Adopting an anchor type mixing system for more uniform heat transfer (recommended for use when there is a large amount of water phase).

3. Combination of pipeline and intermittent use scheme:

Ultra high speed shear pumpThe linear speed can reach up to 50 meters per second, which has a stronger shearing effect on materials and more complete contact between oil and water. The particle size of lotion is evenly distributed, and is smaller than that of traditional equipment. At the same time, with the use of an anchor type mixing system, heat transfer is more uniform (it is recommended to use it when the amount of water phase is large). Adopting continuous emulsification technology, with low equipment investment, high production efficiency, 24-hour continuous production, stable products, and support for online sterilization and cleaning. Compliant with FDA certification. Save replacement time, save space, reduce investment in mixing tanks, improve machine utilization, and make it a choice for large-scale production. Before mass production, a pilot test is required to determine the production machine. Engineering companies are required to manufacture supporting pipelines and liquid conveying devices. Note: The oil and water phases can be interchanged, with the main phase passing through the main pipeline.


High rotational speed and shear rate are the most important for obtaining ultra-fine suspension lotion. According to some industry specific requirements, its shear rate can exceed 15000rpm, and the rotor speed can reach 44m/s. Within this speed range, turbulence caused by shear forces combined with specially developed motors can reduce the particle size range to the nanometer level. The shear force is stronger, and the particle size distribution of lotion is narrower.
