2、 Working principle

This table is a radiation meter used to measure the net difference between solar radiation and ground radiation, and its measurement range includes full wave radiation including ultraviolet, visible, and infrared.

The sensing element of this table is a fast response wire wound, multi turn electroplated thermoelectric stack, which has the characteristics of fast response, wide spectral response, good linearity, and stable operation. When the upper and lower sensing surfaces coated with optical black paint are subjected to different light radiation, their respective thermoelectric stacks are heated, forming cold and hot nodes and generating thermoelectric potential. When the solar radiation is greater than the ground radiation, the output is positive, and vice versa, it is negative.

In order to be able to transmit long wave radiation, this watch adopts a new typeP. V plastic hemispherical film is used as a protective cover, and the title adopts a fully sealed form to prevent the generation of water vapor condensation.

3、 Installation and use

This watch can be installed on a dedicated stand or temporarily mounted on a tripod. For stability, it is generally installed on the stand.

If it is installed on the platform, adjust the four bolts on the adjustment plate that fix the net gauge so that the small bubble inside the horizontal bubble is in the center circle, and then lock it with two bolts to prevent the instrument from deviating from the horizontal position, which will affect the measurement accuracy.

Connect the red output wire to the positive end of the recorder and the other end to the negative end to start measuring.

If the hemispherical membrane is artificially concave during measurement, the air valve can be manually controlled to inflate it until the hemispherical cover is bulging. After use, the air needle can be removed and the valve will automatically close.

The hemispherical cover is a plastic product that will age after long-term exposure, so it can generally be replaced every six months.

4、 Use and repair

4.1. At the beginning of each day's work, the hemispherical cover should be checked for cleanliness. If there is dust or condensation, it should be promptly blown with an ear ball or wiped clean with a soft cloth or optical lens paper, avoiding scratches. If the hemispherical cover is found to be damaged, it should be replaced immediately to prevent water from entering and affecting measurement accuracy due to changes in sensitivity.

4.2 If encountering climate conditions such as river water or sandstorms, it is necessary to cover it in a timely manner.

4.3. If the output is zero, it indicates that the radiation meter is short circuited or the positive and negative connections of the output wires are reversed. If the recorder display value fluctuates, it is a short circuit, and the wires and sockets should be checked. Method: Use a digital meter to measure the two output terminals. If there is a resistance value, it indicates that the radiation meter is intact; If it is zero, it indicates a short circuit; If it is infinite, it indicates an open circuit in the radiation meter. If there is a malfunction, please send it back to the manufacturer for repair.
