3D scratch testerThe use of advanced scratch heads and high-resolution 3D profilometers enables users to conduct standard scratch testing and automatically perform sub nanometer level 3D imaging before and after testing.

Scratch test is used to evaluate the adhesion and scratch resistance of coatings and solid surfaces. Test the scratch on the surface of the sample under controlled force, with the scratch head moving along the sample surface under increasing, constant, or stepped loads. By detecting signals such as friction, displacement, and acoustic emission, as well as utilizing 3D imaging technology to detect coating damage.

3D scratch testerIt can test transparent, non transparent, hard coatings, biomaterials, decorative coatings, fiber optic materials, etc., with a loading force range covering micrometer to macroscopic levels. The test results mainly include mechanical properties (adhesion, friction, wear resistance, critical load Lc1 Lc2 Lc3), 3D morphology (roughness, coating thickness, scratch volume, scratch depth, etc.).

  • Scratch head

Easy to replace scratch head, with a testing range covering nanometer to macroscopic levels. The selection of the scope depends on the actual application and customer needs, with ultra-high resolution and low noise. Rigid design and closed-loop control can provide precise load loading.


  • Online morphology

The sample can be automatically moved to the imaging module (AFM/white light interferometry/confocal/optical microscope), and large scratches can be automatically stitched together to create a complete scratch image.
