The linear wear tester is designed to test curved or flat surfaces and is a tool for evaluating the wear resistance of various sizes. The arm end is connected to a precision roller spline shaft, and the testing accessory is installed at the bottom of the spline shaft, with a weight support installed at the top to adapt to different applied loads. When the horizontal arm performs reciprocating linear motion, the testing system will move up and down along the contour of the specimen with the testing attachment. In order to enhance the versatility of the instrument, the linear wear testing machine can be equipped with optional testing accessories to evaluate the ability of the material surface to resist relative wear, abrasion, scratch, abrasion, friction fading, and other damages. The linear wear testing machine can be used for wet and dry testing.
