Overview
Proximity switches are widely used in industries such as machine tools, metallurgy, chemical engineering, textiles, and printing. In automatic control systems, it can serve as a limiting, counting, positioning control, and automatic protection link. Proximity switches have the characteristics of long service life, reliable operation, high repeatability, no mechanical wear, no sparks, no noise, and strong anti vibration ability.
Product Details

Approaching switch AR-NLG-LAM15 normally openMainly detecting metal objects, when no object is approaching, the internal three tubes are cut off, the output line is clamped by an internal pull-down resistor, the output line is at a low level, and the load does not work; When the detection object approaches, the internal three tubes conduct, and the output line is connected to the collector of the three tubes at a high level, causing the load to operate.It refers to a position switch that operates without mechanical contact with moving parts. Its main working principle is to use the energy of electromagnetic fields to detect the presence or absence of objects in a non-contact manner, or to use microelectronics technology as the core, which has greatly and profoundly promoted technological progress and modernization in various industrial fields. In China, the importance and significance of developing mechatronics technology are increasingly recognized by people. Many units and engineering technicians in the electrical system have made great efforts in the application and development of mechatronics products. Here, taking the widely used integrated proximity switch in industrial automation control as an example, we can see the development prospects of mechatronics electrical products from one aspect.

Working Principle:

When the metal detector approaches the sensing area of the switch, the switch can quickly issue electrical commands without contact, pressure, or sparks, accurately reflecting the position and stroke of the moving mechanism. Even for general stroke control, its positioning accuracy, operating frequency, service life, ease of installation and adjustment, and adaptability to harsh environments cannot be compared to general mechanical stroke switches. It is widely used in industries such as machine tools, metallurgy, chemical engineering, textiles, and printing. In automatic control systems, it can serve as a limiting, counting, positioning control, and automatic protection link. Proximity switches have the characteristics of long service life, reliable operation, high repeatability, no mechanical wear, no sparks, no noise, and strong anti vibration ability.

Inductive proximity switch consists of three main parts: oscillator, switch circuit, and amplification output circuit. The oscillator generates an alternating magnetic field. When the metal target approaches this magnetic field and reaches the induction distance, eddy currents are generated inside the metal target, causing oscillation attenuation and even stopping. The changes in oscillator oscillation and stop oscillation are processed by the post amplification circuit and converted into switch signals, triggering the driving control device to achieve non-contact detection.

The proximity switch has a complete range of models, excellent quality, and complies with GB/T 14048.10. It is a new type of switch component used in industrial automation control systems to achieve full non-contact detection, control, and output links. Using metal for detection, when the switch approaches a metal object, it emits an induction signal.

Typical applications:

Power plant: Boiler and waste heat boiler combustion monitoring

Steel mills: billet continuous casting, slab continuous casting, billet heating furnace, bar and wire rolling line, slab heating furnace, plate and strip hot rolling line, plate and strip hot rolling coiling, plate and strip hot rolling post-treatment line, cold rolling line

Cement: Monitoring of working conditions of rotary kiln head/grate cooler

Glass: Monitoring of Glass Melting Furnace Operating Conditions

Metallurgy: Monitoring of blast furnace/heating furnace operating conditions

Petrochemical: Monitoring of various tubular heating furnace operating conditions

Garbage disposal: monitoring of burner and incinerator operating conditions

Attention should be paid when using proximity switches:

1. Please do not use it in direct sunlight or areas with water splashes. This product should be avoided from outdoor use as much as possible;

2. Please do not place the wires close to the switch near power lines or high-voltage lines. To prevent accidental operation and damage, please set up separate metal pipes for wiring;

3. Please do not excessively pull the wires;

4. Please do not subject the proximity switch to strong impact;

5. Please do not use proximity switches in environments with chemical solvents, such as strong bases or acids;

6. Please do not tighten with excessive force, and use washers when tightening;

Regarding maintenance and upkeep of proximity switches:

In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the proximity switch, like general control machines, please perform the following regular checks

1. Check whether the installation position of the object and proximity switch is offset, loose, deformed, etc;

2. Check for looseness, poor contact, and broken wires in the connecting parts of the wiring;

3. Is there any accumulation of sticky metal dust or other substances;

4. Check for any abnormalities in temperature conditions, surrounding environmental conditions, etc. during use;

5. Check for any abnormalities in the distance.
