This switch is composed of a static magnetic switch and a moving control magnetic steel. It adopts the principle of magnetic induction to make the internal switch move, achieve the purpose of contact on/off, and control the external circuit. (The switch contacts are amplified by special power and the switch capacity is increased, without the need for separate power supply), which overcomes the characteristics of poor contact and easy damage of mechanical collision switches.

Structure and performance

The casing of this switch and the casing of the control magnet are both made of brass (Hpb59-1) or stainless steel casting precision machining. Small size, light weight, high impact resistance, easy installation, use and maintenance, dust-proof and waterproof lamp characteristics. The core adopts an epoxy resin sealing structure to eliminate the risk factors of electric arc, improve safety and reliability, and provide Ip54 protection.

The control magnet is composed of a special structure with stable performance, and can be directly installed on iron materials without causing external magnetic field short circuits.

Installation location

Magnetic switches can be installed at the end of the stroke or at any position in the middle of the stroke.

For situations where the magnetic switch needs to be installed in the middle of the stroke (such as stopping the piston at a certain position in the middle of the stroke), the installation position of the switch can be determined as follows. At the stop position of the piston, fix the piston and allow the magnetic switch to move left and right above the piston. Find the position where the switch starts to engage, and the middle position of the left and right engagement positions is the high sensitivity position of the switch. The magnetic switch should be fixed in this high sensitivity position.

When installing the switch at the end of the stroke, in order to ensure that the switch is installed in the highly sensitive position, the distances A and B from the side end cover and the rodless side end cover have been marked on the sample for different cylinders.

Precautions for use

1) From Anquan's perspective, the distance between two magnetic switches should be 3mm greater than the hysteresis distance of *.

2) Magnetic switches shall not be installed near strong magnetic field equipment (such as welding equipment, etc.).

3) When two or more cylinder magnetic switches are used in parallel, in order to prevent mutual interference of magnetic movement and affect the detection accuracy, the distance between the two cylinder tubes should generally be greater than 40mm.

4) The speed v of the piston approaching the magnetic switch shall not exceed the maximum speed vmax that the magnetic switch can detect. The relationship between the maximum speed vmax and the small action range lmin of the magnetic switch, as well as the action time tc of the magnetic switch lock with load, is: vmax=lmin/tc

For example, if the action time of the solenoid valve connected to the magnetic switch is t=0.02s, and the small action range of the magnetic switch is 1min=10mm, then the maximum speed vmax that the magnetic switch can detect is 500mm/s. If the speed of the cylinder piston is less than 500mm/s, this magnetic switch can be used. If the piston movement speed is greater than 500mm/s and there is no suitable universal magnetic switch available, only magnetic switches with delay function can be selected.

5) The torque for tightening the screws when installing the switch should be appropriate. Excessive torque can damage the switch, while insufficient torque may cause the optimal installation position of the switch to deviate.

6) Regularly check whether the installation position of the magnetic switch is offset. When the piston stops at the set position, for the dual color switch, a green light indicates correctness, while a red light indicates deviation.
