German Festo FESTO pressure reducing valves can be divided into diaphragm type, spring diaphragm type, piston type, lever type, and bellows type according to their structural forms; According to the number of valve seats, it can be divided into single seat and double seat types; According to the position of the valve disc, it can be divided into positive action type and reverse action type. When the output pressure or diameter of the pilot operated pressure reducing valve is high, using a pressure regulating spring to directly regulate the pressure will inevitably result in excessive spring stiffness. When the flow rate changes, the output pressure fluctuates greatly, and the structural size of the valve will also increase. To overcome these drawbacks, a pilot operated pressure reducing valve can be used. The working principle of a pilot operated pressure reducing valve is basically the same as that of a direct acting valve. The pressure regulating gas used for pilot operated pressure reducing valves is supplied by small direct acting pressure reducing valves. If a small direct acting pressure reducing valve is installed inside the valve body, it is called an internal pilot operated pressure reducing valve; If a small direct acting pressure reducing valve is installed outside the main valve body, it is called an external pilot operated pressure reducing valve.
FESTO filter pressure reducing valve generates an upward thrust when the output pressure enters the feedback chamber through the feedback hole. Compared with the pressure of the given spring, when the equilibrium state is reached, the output pressure can be stabilized. After inputting compressed air of 0.3-1.0MPa, it enters the filtering chamber:
(A) Perform water, oil, and dust removal treatment. Due to the elastic force of the given spring pushing the ball valve open, air pressure flows into the output pipeline through the ball valve and enters the feedback chamber through a small hole;
(B) At this point, the force exerted by the air pressure on the diaphragm reaches equilibrium with the given spring force. However, due to external interference, the output pressure may be high or low compared to the given value. If the output pressure is lower than the given value, the force on the diaphragm and the given spring force will lose balance, and the diaphragm will shift downwards, causing the ball valve to open for air pressure compensation. If the output pressure is higher than the given value, the diaphragm will move upwards. At this time, the valve stem and diaphragm core will separate, and the air pressure will be discharged from the small hole to the atmosphere until a new equilibrium is reached. Therefore, the output pressure can always be set at the desired given value.
