The rotor part of this series of pumps mainly consists of a shaft and components such as impellers, shaft sleeves, and balance disks installed on the shaft. The number of impellers depends on the pump stage. The components on the shaft are fastened together with the shaft by flat keys and shaft nuts. The entire rotor is supported by rolling bearings or sliding bearings at both ends. The bearings, depending on the model, do not bear axial forces, and their axial forces are balanced by a balance plate. The pump allows the rotor to be lubricated axially in the pump casing and cooled by circulating water during operation.
The sealing surfaces between the inlet, middle, and outlet sections of the pump are sealed with molybdenum disulfide grease. A sealing ring and guide vane sleeve are installed between the rotor and fixed parts for sealing. When the pump adopts packing sealing, the position of the packing ring should be placed correctly, and the tightness of the packing must be appropriate, so that the liquid can leak out drop by drop. Various sealing components of the pump are installed in the sealing chamber, and a certain pressure of water is introduced into the chamber to provide water sealing, water cooling, or water lubrication. A replaceable shaft sleeve is installed at the shaft seal to protect the pump shaft.
This series of pumps is directly driven by the prime mover through an elastic coupling. From the perspective of the prime mover, the pump rotates clockwise.
