Product Introduction
Total radiation meterUsing the principle of thermoelectric induction and in conjunction with various radiation recorders or radiation ammeters, it can accurately measure the total radiation of the sun.
The core sensing element of this watch adopts a wire wound electroplated multi contact thermoelectric stack, and its surface is coated with a high absorption black coating. The hot contact is located on the sensing surface, while the cold contact is located inside the body, generating a thermoelectric potential between the hot and cold contacts. Within a linear range, the output signal is directly proportional to the intensity of solar radiation.
The double-layer glass cover is designed to reduce the impact of air convection on the radiation meter, while the inner cover is designed to cut off the infrared radiation of the outer cover itself.
This table is used to measure the spectral range of0.3-3μmThe total solar radiation can also be used to measure the solar radiation incident on an inclined surface, such as measuring reflected radiation when the sensing surface is downward, and measuring scattered radiation when a shading ring is added. Therefore, it can be widely used in departments such as solar energy utilization, meteorology, agriculture, aging of building materials, and air pollution to measure solar radiation energy.

Wiring method

Installation and use
The sensor should be installed in an open area with no obstacles above the sensing surface. Then align the cable plug of the radiation meter with the north, adjust the horizontal position, firmly fix it, and thenTotal radiation meterConnect the output cable to the acquisition device for observation. Secure the cable firmly onto the mounting bracket to reduce breakage or intermittent interruptions during windy weather.
Precautions
Please check if the packaging is intact and verify if the product model matches the selected one;
Do not connect live wires. After the wiring is completed and checked for accuracy,Only then can electricity be supplied;
The length of the sensor wire will affect the output signal of the product,Do not arbitrarily modify the components or wires that have been welded before leaving the factory when using the productIf there are any change requirements, please contact the manufacturer;
Sensors are precision components. Users are advised not to disassemble them by themselves, use sharp objects or corrosive liquids to contact the sensor surface, in order to avoid damaging the product;
Please keep the calibration certificate and certificate of conformity, and return them together with the product during maintenance.
Troubleshooting
When simulating outputThe displayed value is significantly larger/smaller. Please check if there is any oil or dirt on the glass cover and wipe it off with a clean cloth;
When simulating output, the display indicates a value of 0 or not within the range. The collector may not be able to obtain information correctly due to wiring issues. Please check if the wiring is correct and secure;
If it is not for the above reasons, please contact the manufacturer.
Product maintenance
It is not allowed to demolish or loosen the filter cover to avoid affecting the measurement accuracy. Be particularly careful when opening or closing the metal cover, as the filter cover is expensive and fragile. The filter cover should be kept smooth and often wiped with a soft cloth or fur;
There should be no water entering the filter cover, and there should be no condensation of water vapor inside the cover. Regularly check whether the desiccant in the dryer has become damp (from blue to red or white), otherwise it should be replaced in a timely manner or taken to the oven to dry and turn back to blue before use;
TBQThe total radiation sensor has good waterproof performance and can generally be left uncovered for short periods of time or when there is low precipitation. But in case of heavy rain (snow, ice, etc.) or prolonged rainfall, in order to protect the radiation meter, the observer needs to cover it according to the specific situation, and open the cover after the rain stops;
TBQIf the total radiation sensor has been used for more than two years, its sensitivity must be recalibrated by the manufacturer or metrology department.
