Mining concentration sensor emulsion concentration meterworking principle
Based on the principles of refraction and total reflection of light, it consists of a light source, sapphire refraction, a receiver, and a signal modulation circuit. The light source emits a stable light signal that passes through sapphire and comes into contact with the measured medium. The concentration of the measured medium generates the corresponding refractive index. The receiver calculates the refractive index of the collected refractive light source and obtains the corresponding concentration through data algorithms. Since the concentration is affected by temperature, internal temperature calibration is used to reduce the influence of temperature drift.

Emulsified liquids are widely used in coal mining production activities, especially as working media for hydraulic systems such as coal mining machines, hydraulic supports, and hydraulic pillars in fully mechanized coal mining faces. They not only transmit power, lubricate, and cool, but also have inhibitory effects on corrosion and rusting. Emulsified liquids have become the "blood" of hydraulic systems. At present, coal mines in China widely use water in oil emulsion with a mass concentration of 3% -5%, which is prepared by adding 3% -5% emulsion oil by weight and 97% -95% water to form an emulsion. The performance of emulsion has a significant impact on the reliability, safety, and service life of hydraulic systems. The percentage of emulsified oil in the emulsion, i.e. the concentration of the emulsion, is an important indicator for evaluating the performance of the emulsion. Too low a concentration can affect the ability to resist hard water, stability, rust prevention, and lubrication; Excessive concentration not only increases costs, but also reduces defoaming ability and increases swelling of rubber sealing materials. Therefore, achieving automatic detection and proportioning of emulsion concentration is particularly important for protecting hydraulic system components, extending their service life, and reducing production costs.
