Overview

The ammonia online analyzer developed by our company is based on the "Sodium hypochlorite salicylic acid spectrophotometric method for the determination of ammonia in ambient air" (HJ 534-2009). The measurement principle is that ammonia in the air is absorbed by dilute sulfuric acid absorption solution to generate ammonium sulfate. In the presence, ammonium ions react with salicylic acid and sodium hypochlorite to form a blue complex, and the absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 697 nm. The absorbance is directly proportional to the ammonia content, and the ammonia content is calculated based on the absorbance.

Our company's research and developmentAmmonia online analyzerAccording to the "Sodium hypochlorite salicylic acid spectrophotometric method for the determination of ammonia in ambient air" (HJ 534-2009), the measurement principle is that ammonia in the air is captured by a spiral tube trap under the action of a vacuum diaphragm pump, and fully contacts with the absorption liquid in the trap. The ammonia component in the test gas is absorbed in the absorption liquid to obtain a test solution containing ammonium ions. In the presence of sodium ferrocyanide, ammonium ions, salicylic acid, and sodium hypochlorite react to form the blue complex indigo phenol blue, which has an absorbance of * at a wavelength of 697nm. The liquid subjected to derivatization reaction enters the total reflection long path online flow cell (LWCC) for the test sample. According to Lambert Beer's law, under the irradiation of a special light source with a wavelength of 697nm and a certain absorption layer thickness, the concentration of the test component is proportional to its absorbance. Online detection of ammonia content in the gas to be tested can be achieved based on absorbance.
