Rope disk cleaning

• Regularly check if there are any residual ropes in the rope reel. If there are any, lift the knotter and clean it thoroughly, otherwise it will affect the knotting effect.

Component wear inspection

• Rope clamp discCheck if the groove of the rope clamp is flush with the outer edge of the rope clamp, and not too large or too small, otherwise it may cause the rope clamp to fail to hold the rope. At the same time, check whether the rope clamp is worn and replace the worn rope clamp in a timely manner.
• beakCheck if the eagle beak is worn, deformed, or if the ball has fallen off. Excessive wear on the olecranon can lead to difficulty in removing the rope, while detachment of the ball can cause the olecranon to not open and unable to tie knots. Timely replace worn eagle beak and ball bearings.
• Eagle beak pressure plateCheck if the olecranon pressure plate is too loose or too tight. Being too tight can result in no knots, while being too loose can lead to single or double bows. Adjust the tightness of the pressure plate screws to ensure the knotting effect.
• Key salesCheck if the key pin is worn. Wear of the key pin can cause an increase in the clearance between the teeth and the disc, affecting the success rate of the knotter. Replace worn key pins in a timely manner.

Lubrication system maintenance

• The Rasber knotter can be equipped with an original central lubrication system, which regularly checks the working condition of the lubrication system to ensure that the lubricating oil is sufficient and evenly distributed.
• According to usage, regularly add or replace lubricating oil to reduce component wear and extend equipment service life.
