The hedge cutting system is a core equipment used in landscaping for efficient pruning of shrubs, tea trees, hedgerows, and other plants. Its working principle, structural composition, type characteristics, and maintenance points are as follows:

1、 Working principle

The hedge cutting system achieves cutting by driving the blades with a power source, and the core principle can be divided into two categories:

  1. Reciprocating cutting
    • The power source (gasoline engine or electric motor) drives the piston to make reciprocating motion in the cylinder, and converts the linear motion of the piston into the reciprocating linear motion of the blade through the connecting rod mechanism.
    • The blade edge cuts into the branches of the hedge at high frequency, utilizing its sharpness to cut through the branches, achieving continuous pruning with high frequency.
  2. Rotary cutting
    • The power source drives the rotating shaft to rotate at high speed, and circular blades (usually in the form of a disc with multiple blade combinations) are installed on the shaft.
