How to do daily cleaning and maintenance of Schumacher straw pulverizer blade
Date: 2025-11-19Read: 2
The daily cleaning and maintenance of Schumacher straw pulverizer blades need to be carried out fromCleaning, lubrication, fastening, inspection, and storageFive aspects of systematic development, with specific operational points as follows:

1、 Daily cleaning: remove residues and prevent blockages

  1. Clean up immediately after homework
    • Remove residual straw debris, grain residue, and other materials from the crushing chamber to avoid clumping and blocking the internal channels of the equipment due to moisture, which may affect the efficiency of the next operation.
    • Clean the surface of the equipment with a clean cloth or brush to prevent oil stains, dust, and debris from corroding metal parts.
  2. Key cleaning areas
    • Blade guard inner wallTimely remove the soil layer to prevent increased load and worsening blade wear.
    • Side panel inner wallClean up residual soil to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
    • Inner wall of shellEnsure the working volume and avoid soil accumulation affecting the crushing quality.

2、 Lubrication and maintenance: reduce wear and extend service life

  1. Lubrication of key parts
    • bearingUse lithium based grease (high-speed butter) and add it once every shift (10 hours of operation) to ensure that the bearings rotate flexibly.
    • Universal joint crossheadAdd enough butter on time to prevent transmission failure caused by wear and tear.
    • Transmission shaft telescopic sleeveApply lubricating grease to reduce friction and wear.
  2. Lubrication precautions
    • Clean the fuel inlet to prevent impurities from entering the lubricating oil.
    • Regularly check the lubricating oil level and replenish or replace it in a timely manner.

3、 Tightening inspection: prevent loosening and ensure safety

  1. Tightening of connecting components
    • Regularly check the tightening of all connecting bolts and nuts, especially for looseness caused by vibration after long-term operation.
    • Tighten loose parts with a wrench to the specified torque to ensure a secure and reliable connection.
  2. Inspection of transmission components
    • belt tensionAdjust to the appropriate state, too loose will lead to a decrease in transmission efficiency, and too tight will exacerbate bearing wear.
    • V-belt wearCheck the contact between the working surface and the pulley groove surface, and replace worn or damaged belts in a timely manner.

4、 Component inspection and replacement: maintain performance and avoid malfunctions

  1. Blade inspection and replacement
    • wear conditionCheck if the blade edge has become dull, if there are gaps or cracks, polish it with a sharpening stone in a timely manner until it is sharp, and replace it with a new blade if it is severe.
    • Group replacementWhen the blade wears down to the point of losing 2/3 of its edge, the entire set needs to be replaced to ensure the dynamic balance of the blade shaft.
    • weight classificationWhen replacing blades, the weight difference of blades within the same group should not exceed 10 grams to avoid vibration or damage caused by imbalance.
  2. Inspection of other components
    • screenCheck for any damage, holes, or deformation to ensure uniform particle size of the discharged material.
    • gearboxCheck the sealing condition, there should be no oil leakage at the static joint, and no oil leakage at the dynamic joint; Replace the paper pad or oil seal in a timely manner.
    • breathing holeCheck if the breathing hole of the gearbox is unobstructed, and if there is any blockage, promptly clear it.

5、 Storage management: rust and moisture prevention, equipment protection

  1. Short term storage
    • After the homework is completed, place the equipment on the pre cushioned object, park it in a dry place, and avoid hanging it.
    • Loosen the belt and do not use the ground wheel as a support point to prevent deformation of the belt.
  2. long-term storage
    • rust prevention treatmentApply rust proof oil or butter to components such as blades and pins that have relative movement.
    • Elevated storageUse wooden blocks to support the equipment and keep the blades off the ground to prevent deformation.
    • Environmental RequirementsStore indoors in a dry and well ventilated area, with rain proof facilities required for outdoor storage.
