What are the fault phenomena during the operation of the white rice grading screen
Date: 2025-10-28Read: 38
The white rice grading screen may experience various malfunctions during operation, which may be caused by factors such as operation, equipment, or raw materials, as follows:

1、 Malfunctions caused by operational factors

  1. Low sorting efficiency

    • phenomenonAfter screening, the material contains broken or whole rice that does not meet the requirements, resulting in a decrease in product quality.
    • reasonExcessive or insufficient import flow can result in an inappropriate thickness of the material layer on the screen surface, affecting the automatic grading effect; Improper setting of screen rotation speed and turning radius affects the relative movement speed of materials on the screen surface.
    • exclusion methodAdjust the import flow rate to ensure that the thickness of the material layer on the screen surface is appropriate; Adjust the screen rotation speed and turning radius according to the material characteristics.
  2. Screen blockage

    • phenomenonThe sieve is blocked by material, which prevents the material from passing through the sieve smoothly and affects the screening efficiency.
    • reasonThe raw materials may contain impurities such as clumps and fibers, or the sieve aperture may be too small, causing the material to clog the sieve.
    • exclusion methodClean the sieve and remove impurities; Select the appropriate sieve aperture based on the material characteristics.
  3. Uneven feeding

    • phenomenonThe uneven distribution of materials on the screening surface results in poor screening efficiency.
    • reasonImproper setting of feeding device or poor flowability of the material itself.
    • exclusion methodAdjust the feeding device to ensure that the material is evenly distributed on the screen surface; Improve material fluidity, such as through pre-treatment such as drying and screening.

2、 Malfunctions caused by equipment

  1. The sieve mesh is loose or damaged

    • phenomenonThe sieve may become loose or damaged during operation, resulting in material leakage or a decrease in screening efficiency.
    • reasonImproper installation of the screen mesh or prolonged use leading to wear and tear of the screen mesh.
    • exclusion methodTighten or replace the screen mesh to ensure that it is securely installed; Regularly check the condition of the screen mesh and replace worn screens in a timely manner.
  2. Wear or damage to the transmission part

    • phenomenonWear or damage to the transmission part can cause unstable operation or shutdown of the equipment.
    • reasonThe transmission part is subjected to load for a long time or lacks lubrication, resulting in wear and tear.
    • exclusion methodReplace worn transmission components; Regularly lubricate and maintain the transmission parts.
  3. Irregular shaking or vibration of equipment

    • phenomenonIrregular shaking or vibration of the equipment during operation can affect the screening effect and equipment lifespan.
    • reasonLoose support rod, deformed and damaged spring, uneven base, etc.
    • exclusion methodTighten the fixing bolts on the support rod and adjust the levelness of the base; Replace the deformed and damaged spring.

3、 Malfunctions caused by raw materials

  1. The moisture content of raw grains is too high or too low

    • phenomenonExcessive moisture content in raw grains leads to high material viscosity and poor flowability, which can easily clog the sieve mesh; If the moisture content of the raw grain is too low, it may lead to an increase in material fragmentation and affect the screening effect.
    • reasonRaw grains may become damp or excessively dry during storage or transportation.
    • exclusion methodControl the moisture content of the incoming raw materials to ensure that the moisture content of the raw materials is appropriate.
  2. The raw materials contain foreign objects

    • phenomenonThe raw materials contain foreign objects such as clumps and fibers, which can cause clogging of the sieve or damage to the equipment.
    • reasonForeign substances are mixed in during the harvesting, storage, or processing of raw materials.
    • exclusion methodStrengthen the cleaning and screening of raw materials to remove foreign objects; Regularly check the condition of the equipment and promptly clean up foreign objects.
