1、 Feed control: Uniform stability is key

  1. flow regulation
    • The flow rate should be based on the rated output, avoiding being too large or too small. When the flow rate is too high, a thick layer of material will increase the resistance of airflow penetration, causing the material to be unable to be in a semi suspended state and reducing the stone removal effect; If the flow rate is too small, the material layer will be too thin, and the airflow will easily penetrate, disrupting the automatic layering of materials and stones, which also affects the separation efficiency.
    • Proper grain storage should be maintained in the hopper to prevent materials from directly hitting the screen surface and ensure a stable suspended state.
  2. Distribution uniformity
    • The material should fall continuously and evenly along the width direction of the screen surface to avoid local accumulation or breakage. The material can be evenly distributed on the screen width by adjusting the material spreading plate or feeding device.
    • Before driving, a layer of material can be laid on the work surface to avoid uneven airflow distribution during startup.

2、 Air volume regulation: precise matching of material status

  1. air volume
    • The air volume needs to be adjusted according to the type and status of the material. Taking rice as an example, the thickness of the suspended flow layer should be controlled at 30-40 millimeters, while for wheat it should be 20-30 millimeters.
    • The blow type stone removal machine controls the air volume by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the air inlet, while the suction type stone removal machine adjusts the opening degree of the air duct damper. After adjustment, it is necessary to observe the pressure gauge indication to ensure stable air flow.
  2. Reverse wind regulation
    • The reverse wind is used to blow back the rice mixed in the selection chamber, while not obstructing the discharge of the side stones. The direction and speed of the reverse wind can be changed by adjusting the cross-sectional area of the upper arc-shaped wind plate or lower air inlet of the selection chamber.

3、 Screen surface maintenance: maintain smoothness and flatness

  1. Mesh cleaning
    • Regularly check whether the stone removal sieve plate, air distribution plate, and air inlet are blocked. If the sieve holes are blocked, they can be cleaned with a wire brush. Do not knock them again to avoid damaging the flatness of the sieve plate. The double-sided raised sieve plate can be flipped over for extended service life.
  2. Screen plate replacement
    • The sieve plate needs to be replaced in a timely manner after wear to ensure accurate hole patterns and flat surface. When replacing, it is necessary to shape it. The unevenness of the stone slab should not exceed 2 millimeters, and the unevenness of the selected slab should not exceed 0.5 millimeters.

4、 Equipment vibration and tilt angle: dynamic balance is the core

    • The amplitude and vibration frequency need to match the material characteristics. Excessive amplitude or frequency can cause material jumping and disrupt automatic layering; If the amplitude is too small or the frequency is too low, the material will move slowly and the separation efficiency will decrease.
    • The vibration motor can change the excitation direction by adjusting the installation angle (vibration angle), or adjust the excitation force by changing the position of the weight block (requires professional operation).
  2. screen inclination angle
    • The inclination angle of the stone removal screen surface should be maintained between 10 ° and 13 °. When the inclination angle is too large, the resistance to stone discharge increases, the material flow rate accelerates, and the stones are prone to mixing with the clean grain; If the inclination angle is too small, it will be difficult to discharge the material, and the grain content in the stones will increase.
    • Tilt angle adjustment can be achieved by changing the thickness of the pad under the rear joystick support. When adjusting, the rubber torsion device needs to be released to ensure that the horizontal tilt angle of the joystick is around 35 ° after the eccentric shaft moves.

5、 Shutdown operation: standardize the process to prevent malfunctions

  1. Shutdown sequence
    • When stopping the machine, the feeding should be stopped first, and the fan and air duct gate should be closed after the material on the screen surface has been removed to prevent material blockage.
    • After maintenance, an empty test run is required to check whether the machine is working properly and whether the steering is correct. Only after confirming that there are no errors can it be put into operation.
  2. Long term shutdown maintenance
    • When not in use for a long time, a layer of material should be retained on the stone removal sieve plate to prevent uneven airflow distribution during the next start-up.
    • Regularly clean the bearings and replenish lubricating oil. Rolling bearings need to be disassembled and replaced with lubricating grease once a year.
