The purpose, working principle, and process flow of the equipment
(1) Purpose:
This equipment is mainly used for polishing white rice in the rice milling process, further improving the smoothness of white rice, and is a key equipment for producing non wash rice. The device has a compact structure, beautiful appearance, reasonable craftsmanship, simple operation, and easy maintenance.
(2) Working principle:
The white rice processed by the rice mill unit enters the polishing chamber through a flow regulating mechanism from the feeding hopper and spirals forward along the surface of the polishing roller. The water heated and pressurized by the water pump assembly is sprayed in multiple ways from the center of the polishing machine spindle. The water mist enters the polishing chamber through the holes on the spindle and mixes with white rice. The polishing roller rotating at a certain linear speed undergoes strong flipping and frictional motion with the white rice. Under the high-pressure airflow generated by the fan, air is introduced into the polishing chamber through the holes on the main shaft, forcing the bran powder on the surface of the white rice to detach from the rice grains and be discharged outside the sieve holes, thereby achieving the goal of improving the smoothness of the rice grains.

3、 Structure of equipment
The rice polishing machine is mainly composed of five parts: feeding hopper, polishing chamber, machine base, fan, and watering device. The watering device consists of a water pump assembly, a flow control valve, a spray pipe, a nozzle, and control electrical appliances. The water pump assembly consists of a water tank, heater, filter screen, water pump, control electrical appliances, etc. The feeding hopper assembly consists of feeding hopper, feeding seat, flow control door and other parts, fixed at the top of the frame. The polishing room consists of a rice sieve bracket, a spindle, a screw head, polishing rollers, a rice sieve, a discharge nozzle, etc. The suction net assembly consists of a fan, air duct, cyclone settler, etc.
4、 Installation, debugging, operation, and maintenance
The foundation for installing this machine should be firm and must be leveled.
Connect the three phase wires of the main power supply to the automatic air circuit breaker (commonly known as the circuit breaker) in the electrical box according to the circuit diagram of the electrical box; Connect the neutral wire (commonly known as the neutral wire) of the power supply to the black wire end of the current transformer. Connect the electrical box to the polishing machine spindle motor cable6Root. Attention! According to the different protection methods of the system, the electrical box, control box, and shell must be grounded or protected with neutral wire to prevent electric shock accidents!
Before driving, close the feed gate * and manually operate the drive wheel without getting stuck. Start the spindle motor with the button on the control box, and the rotation direction must comply with the specified direction of the spiral conveying material in the polishing machine room, that is, clockwise rotation facing the spindle pulley.
Remove the hose of the sprinkler pipe, connect the power supply of the water pump, and turn down the "water supply control" switch on the control box panel to the "manual" position. The water pump should start running. Slowly rotate the flow control knob counterclockwise to allow the removed hose to drain for a few minutes, removing any sewage or impurities from the waterway. Then turn off the water pump and restore the axial spray hose connection. Slowly rotate the flow control knob counterclockwise to raise the float in the flowmeter to about25rise/hour,Observe the nozzle in the spindle and wait for it to start emitting water,Close the flow control knob clockwise again.
Attention!Prevent burns when adjusting and repairing waterways! After parking in winter, the stored water in containers such as water tanks and flow meters should be drained to prevent freezing and cracking!
Start the fan and spindle motor, wait for the equipment to operate normally without load, and then slowly open the feed gate. When adjusting flow and accuracy, be careful not to overload the power load. Adjust the pressure weight of the discharge nozzle according to the required accuracy and smoothness. After the material flow rate is normal, start spraying water. Rotate the dial on the temperature controller to the set temperature value, and observe the green and red lights on the temperature controller alternately turning on and off (green light for heating, red light for stopping). Observe the water flow rate, material flow rate, and main motor current.
Regularly manually add water to the water tank to ensure its water level. After the equipment processes white rice normally, adjust the water volume through a flow control valve. The amount of water should not be too large, otherwise it will affect the storage period of the finished product. The general water volume is controlled within1%following. Under normal circumstances, a small amount of water only serves to scrub the rice grains, and most of the water is discharged out of the sieve along with the rice bran.
7. Regularly clean the filter screen at the inlet of the water pump to ensure smooth water inflow. Regularly or irregularly open the polishing chamber, remove the accumulated bran on the polishing roller and screen surface, and observe the wear of the parts. When the components such as the screw propeller, outlet liner, and rice screen wear out and affect the production efficiency, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
