The online monitoring system for gas calorific value includes two types of equipment for capturing tar mist in gas: organic tar catcher and electric tar catcher. Currently, electric tar catcher is mainly used in China to capture tar mist in gas.

Testing process points and measuring components
1. TK-6000 gas calorific value analysis system;
2. Detection point: Gas main pipe after the gas booster station or gas main pipe before the combustion point;
3. Testing components: CO, CH4, H2;
4. Analysis purpose: To provide data guidance for combustion control and process requirements;
5. Interlocking control: This system automatically samples, blows, drains, and analyzes output (signal output 4-20mA), and can participate in interlocking control through the main control room;
6. Selection of analytical instruments: electrochemical, magnetic oxygen, Siemens.
The traditional analysis of gas calorific value adopts the combustion method, which is based on the principle of taking out the gas and sending it to the gas chamber for combustion after pre-treatment, and detecting the calorific value of the gas through temperature changes. Due to the fact that industrial gas is generally dirty and contains substances such as tar, dust, water vapor, benzene, naphthalene, etc., blockages in sampling pipelines and combustion chambers often occur during actual use, affecting the normal operation of equipment. At the same time, changes in gas temperature, pressure, and flow rate can affect the accuracy of analytical values.
This system uses analytical methods to analyze the calorific value of coal gas. The principle is to convert the calorific value of coal gas by analyzing the composition and content of combustible gases in the gas. Our company adopts multiple filtering technology, effectively solving the problem of easy blockage of sampling probes and sampling pipelines. The analysis system can measure the volume percentage concentration values of each component in the gas through infrared and thermal conductivity gas analysis instruments. The entire working process of the system is automatically controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC). The 4-20mA current signal corresponding to the volume percentage content of each component is connected to the PLC analog input and output module. Due to the different concentrations of each component, the analysis of the mixed gas can be obtained by building a mathematical model and calculating the mathematical formula based on the relationship between the volume percentage content of each component and the corresponding concentration of a single component. The calculation process of components is implemented through programmable logic controller (PLC) software programming.
