The spectrometer C-800 is equipped with four new quantification methodsColor rendering index of sensation:SSITheTLCITheTM-30-18andCRICompatible with various genres of light color evaluations. This is a high-performance colorimeter that supports digital photography and is equipped with a spectral sensor that can accurately measure light sources such as LEDs and fluorescent lamps, which are difficult to use with traditional RGB filter sensor methods. We have achieved more accurate color temperature measurement by matching the sensor light receiving characteristics of digital cameras. It also has the function of displaying the number and index of color temperature conversion filters and color correction filters required for accurate reproduction of the subject's color.

SSI mode screen
SSI is a color rendering index developed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the United States, which displays a comparison in index form with CIE standard light sources (tungsten filament lamps, daylight D55, etc.) or memory light sources, as well as a chart. TLCI/TLMF mode screen
TLCI is a color rendering index that takes into account camera characteristics and is designed for creating television images. Similar to CRI, it displays a maximum score of 100. It also has a function called TLMF, which can display comparisons with reference light sources (stored values) using an index.
TM-30-18 mode screen
TM-30-18 displays Rf (color fidelity) and Rg (vividness) as indicators based on 99 standard colors and the characteristics of the human eye. Display as numerical and color vector graphics.
CRI Comparison Mode Screen
CRI is the standard color rendering index. The memory value and the current measurement value can be displayed side by side and compared.
It can measure various light sources (LED, HMI, tungsten filament lamp, fluorescent lamp, natural light, flash, etc.) with high precision.
The C-800 uses a CMOS linear image sensor in the light receiving section. To determine the accurate color temperature, we conducted spectral measurements within the wavelength range of 380nm to 780nm. Not only can it accurately measure traditional flashlights and constant light sources (tungsten filament lamps, HMI, etc.), but it can also accurately measure the increasing number of light sources such as LED and fluorescent lamps in photo shooting in recent years.

Optical design of the light receiving part
The spectrometer C-800 also fully utilizes optical technology in the light receiving part.
We remove unwanted infrared radiation from the measurement and adjust the angle of the light.
In addition to using dedicated CMOS linear image sensors, the optical system minimizes measurement errors caused by oblique incident light to a certain extent.
It also has a built-in thin dark correction unit and ND filter. Simply rotate the light receiving dial to switch ND filters for dark correction or high-intensity flash measurement.
Humanized product design
We pursue user-friendly product design, including a rotating mechanism for the light receiving part, a uncovered dark correction mechanism, a large 4.3-inch color touch screen, and customized features for the application.
Rich measurement values and wide measurement range
