1. Overview and main uses of machine tools

The Y3180 two axis CNC hobbing machine uses the generating method to process various spur gears, helical gears, worm gears, small bevel gears, drum gears, and splines through electronic gearboxes. This machine is suitable for gear processing in industries such as mining, shipbuilding, lifting machinery, metallurgy, elevators, petroleum machinery, power generation equipment, and engineering machinery.

This machine tool adopts the Guangzhou CNC GSK218MC-H gear hobbing machine dedicated CNC system (other imported or domestically produced CNC systems can also be used according to user ordering requirements).

This machine tool adopts an electronic gearbox (EGB) to achieve gear separation and differential compensation motion, which can replace traditional transmission boxes and feed boxes with parameter programming, without the need for gear separation, differential, and feed hanging wheels, reducing tedious calculations and installation.

This machine tool can use multi head high-speed rolling cutters for efficient and powerful gear hobbing, with a machining efficiency 2-5 times that of ordinary gear hobbing machines of the same specifications.

This machine tool has fault diagnosis function, which facilitates troubleshooting and reduces maintenance standby time.

Due to the shortening of the transmission route and the reduction of transmission chain errors, according to the large or small module of the machined gear, it can be fed once or multiple times. With the use of a two-stage rolling cutter and reasonable material and process operation procedures for the workpiece being machined, its precision machining accuracy can reach level 7 accuracy of GB/T10095-2001 "Precision of Involute Cylindrical Gears".

This machine tool has significant advantages over the ordinary gear hobbing machines currently used in the domestic market. Firstly, the precision of the processed gears is high, which can reduce the need for gear shaving machines; Secondly, the machine tool can automatically cycle processing, which not only saves time, but also allows one person to operate two or three machine tools at the same time, greatly saving manpower and reducing the labor intensity of operators; Due to the direct programming operation and simple programming, in the past, highly educated operators were required for machining helical gears and prime gears on ordinary gear hobbing machines. On a four axis gear hobbing machine, ordinary personnel can directly input the drawing parameters, and the employment level is relatively low, making it convenient for users to recruit workers.
