The liquid level gauge works based on the principles of buoyancy and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the tested container rises or falls, the float in the main tube of the level gauge also rises or falls accordingly. The magnetic steel inside the float is transmitted to the on-site indicator through magnetic coupling, driving the red and white flip column to rotate 180 °. When the liquid level rises, the flip column changes from white to red, and when the liquid level drops, it changes from red to white. The red and white boundary of the indicator is the actual height of the medium liquid level in the container, thus achieving liquid level indication.

TKUHZ-517C10 is the most commonly used top mounted magnetic flip column level gauge, suitable for measuring the liquid level of liquid media with working pressure below 2.5 MPa and working temperature below 200 ℃.

Product usage and maintenance instructions
Usage:
1. For detailed information on supporting instruments and accessories, please refer to the corresponding instrument accessory manual.
2. In order to prevent damage caused by the up and down movement of the float during long-distance transportation or moving, a calibration magnetic steel provided by the liquid level gauge factory is used to attract the magnetic float on the outside of the main tube (with colored markings). So after receiving the product or installation, please remove the calibration magnet so that the float can move up and down with the liquid level. If the color of the magnetic flip column does not match before use, the calibration magnet can be used to smooth it out and the instrument can work normally.
After the installation of the liquid level gauge, it is necessary to calibrate it with magnetic steel and guide the magnetic flip column once, so that the display below the zero position is red and the display above the zero position is white.
4. The liquid level gauge can be equipped with a heating jacket or an electric heat tracing device according to the user's needs. If the user does not select this option when ordering, and uses the heat tracing pipeline after installation, it is necessary to ensure that the temperature generated by the self equipped heat tracing device does not exceed the rated temperature of the liquid level gauge.
When the liquid level gauge is put into operation, the valve of the upper liquid inlet pipe should be opened first, and then the valve of the lower liquid inlet pipe should be slowly opened to allow the liquid medium to smoothly enter the main pipe, avoiding the rapid rise of the liquid medium with the float, which may cause the magnetic flip column to malfunction or flip randomly (if this phenomenon occurs, magnetic steel can be used to recalibrate).
maintenance
1. There should be no solid impurities or magnetic impurities entering the cylinder of the liquid level gauge to avoid jamming the float and reducing buoyancy.
2. According to the condition of the medium, the main tube can be cleaned regularly to remove any impurities that may have accumulated inside the tube.
When cleaning or replacing the float with liquid, open the drain flange. When installing the magnetic float, pay attention to the heavy end with the magnetic end facing upwards and not inverted!
4. For low-temperature and liquefied gas products, the liquid level gauge body is insulated with a vacuum jacket. During installation and use, be careful not to damage the jacket to avoid affecting product quality.
