Overview

The KY-200 microcoulometric sulfur and chlorine analyzer is based on the microcoulometric principle. Various forms of sulfur (chlorine) in the sample are converted into sulfur dioxide (all converted into HCl) at high temperatures in nitrogen and oxygen, and enter the titration cell. Iodine and sulfur dioxide react through electrolysis (silver ions react with chloride ions through electrolysis in the cell). The microcomputer automatically calculates the total sulfur content (total chlorine content) in the sample based on the amount of electricity consumed by the generated iodine (silver ions) and Faraday's law. The entire analysis process is controlled by a computer, and the samples are loaded by an automatic sampler, with a high degree of instrument automation. Can be used for petrochemicals

KY-200Microcoulometric sulfur and chlorine analyzerAccording to the principle of microcoulometry, various forms of sulfur (chlorine) in the sample are converted into sulfur dioxide (all converted into HCl) at high temperatures in nitrogen and oxygen. The microcomputer automatically calculates the total sulfur content (total chlorine content) in the sample based on the amount of electricity consumed by the iodine produced (the microcomputer calculates the amount of electricity consumed by the silver ions produced) and Faraday's law. It can be used for the analysis of trace sulfur or chlorine in petrochemical products, and is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, scientific research, teaching, environmental protection, quality inspection, and commercial inspection.
