This instrument complies with JTG E50-2006 "Test Code for Geosynthetics in Highway Engineering" and SL/T235-1999 "Test Code for Geosynthetics". Developed and designed in accordance with the national standards GB/T17633-1998, SL/T235-2012, and ISO/FDISI2958-98E "Determination of Water Transfer Capacity of Geotextiles and Related Products Along the Plane of Fabrics - Water Flow in Geotextiles and Related Products". Suitable for measuring the horizontal permeability and hydraulic conductivity of geotextiles under constant head water flow under certain normal pressure, suitable for various geotextiles and geotextile composites with water transport capacity along the horizontal direction, as well as for measuring the horizontal permeability of various geotextile materials, with stable performance and convenient practicality Stable performance, convenient and practical.

(a) Permeation pressure chamber: including aluminum alloy pressure chamber, organic glass container, aluminum alloy upper and lower pressing plates, and latex gasket (can meet different sizes of drainage plates).
(b) Normal force loading device: including 0.4 grade precision stainless steel pressure gauge (0-0.6MPa, accuracy 0.4 grade), precision pressure regulating valve (air pressure loading), various switches, pipelines, loading frame, etc.
(c) Permeation head pressure measuring tube, inlet switch, upper and lower head adjustment device (the container should have an overflow device to maintain a constant head during the test).
(d) Water filtration system.

[Geosynthetics horizontal permeameter]Operation steps for parameters:
1) The test water should be deaerated water or distilled water.
2) Cut 3 samples in the longitudinal and transverse directions respectively. When the sample is thin, 2 or 3 layers of samples should be overlapped to form a group for testing. At this time, 6 or 9 samples should be cut respectively.
3) Encapsulate the sample in latex film or rubber sleeve, the sample should be flat and wrinkle free, and there should be no leakage around it. For direct loading type, the upper and lower cushion layers of the sample should be carefully installed to withstand uniform normal pressure.
4) Apply a pressure of 2-5kpa to position the sample, then inject deaerated water into the water level container to remove any bubbles inside the sample. During the test, the sample should be saturated.
5) Select hydraulic gradient according to site conditions, and when the situation is unclear, select hydraulic gradient not greater than 1.0
6) Select at least three types of normal pressure tests based on site conditions or design requirements, with one pressure slightly higher than the design value and the other slightly lower than the design value. Apply a normal pressure of one level Z to the sample for 15 minutes. Raise the water level of the container to achieve the required hydraulic gradient. After the water flow stabilizes, measure the time it takes for 500 cubic centimeters of permeate to pass through, or record the amount of water passed within 15 minutes. Three parallel measurements were taken under each hydraulic gradient.
7) Repeat the above steps using a different hydraulic gradient.
8) Increase the pressure and repeat the above steps to complete the test under the remaining normal pressure.
Clean the surface after the experiment is completed for future use.

5. Adopting AC servo motors and drive systems to ensure smooth transmission and stable torque, with protection devices for overcurrent, overvoltage, overload, etc;

7. The fixture is specially designed, firmly clamped, easy to operate, and has no sliding phenomenon of the jaws;
8. The special process ensures the coaxiality of the testing machine, effectively eliminating the influence of irregular samples on the sensor.
