Overview

The metal tube rotor flowmeter utilizes the dynamic action of fluid to move the float upstream in a vertically installed measuring tube, and the displacement of the float is proportional to the flow rate. Through a magnetic transmission system, the displacement of the float is transmitted to the indicator in a non-contact manner to directly indicate the magnitude of the flow rate.

Maintenance of instruments

1. Instruments are precision equipment, so they must be handled with care during transportation, installation, storage, and use to prevent rough transportation, over stress installation, and disorderly placement on the ground. It is necessary to ensure that the relative position of the indicator and sensor cannot be changed. Once the relative position changes, it will directly affect the measurement accuracy of the instrument.

During long-term use, ferromagnetic substances are inevitably adsorbed on the float in the pipeline. If there are too many impurities, the float may get stuck or affect measurement accuracy. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly clean the sensors of the instrument. If a magnetic filter is installed at the entrance of the instrument, it should also be cleaned regularly.

3. Due to the electronic components inside the indicator of the instrument, when disassembling the casing or using the instrument, the screws should be tightened to keep the casing sealed. It is necessary to prevent harmful substances such as liquids and ferromagnetism from entering the instrument, and ensure that the casing of the instrument is reliably grounded.
