Selection principle

1. Determine the height of the chain plate and the type of drag chain based on the aperture Dma of the support plate.
2. The aperture of the inner cavity of the support plate D1=d+is approximately equal to 0.1d (take an integer). Where d=outer diameter of wires, cables, liquid and gas hoses.
3. Determine the bending radius of the support plate type drag chain based on the functional requirements of the drag chain:
1) When the size of the pipe joint of the cable is larger than the inner hole diameter of the support plate or requires frequent disassembly, maintenance, etc., a separate type support plate can be selected;
2) When the drag chain needs to bear large pipe and cable loads, high-strength support plate type integral block type should be selected;
3) When there are many specifications and varieties of cable installation, frame type support plates can be used.
4. When the use of machine tool drag chains is restricted or affected by the environment, steel strip protective support plates need to be used.
5. Determine the width b1 of the support plate based on the number of installed cables, and thus determine the width B of the drag chain.
