SBE37sm/SMP/SMP Do MicroCAT is a high-precision conductivity and temperature (pressure optional) recorder with RS-232 or RS-485 interface, internal battery, data storage, optional pump, and optional photo dissolved oxygen sensor. Micro cats are designed for parking or other long-term, fixed site deployment, autonomous applications.

The data is recorded in memory and can be output in real-time. Measurement data and derived variables (salinity, sound velocity) are the outputs of engineering units.

SBE 37 is a small temperature and salinity depth recorder that can be used for long-term fixed-point observation, as well as for ROVs, AUVs towing bodies, and other instrument platforms. There are two types of depths for use: 350m (plastic shell) or 7000m (titanium alloy), with memory and anti biological pollution device. There are many SBE37 series products, including:

IM - Inductive transmission mode for real-time data transmission, with built-in battery.

SM - Serial communication, built-in battery.

SI - Serial communication, powered by external power supply.

IMP, SMP, and SIP have added water pumps to reduce biological contamination of conductivity sensors.
