RHEOVAC turbine condenser pipeline vacuum leak detectorIt is a device that can analyze the complex dynamic characteristics of non condensable gas and water vapor mixtures in the condenser exhaust pipe.The Condenser Monitoring System (CMS) consists of RHEOVAC instruments and a circulating water flow rate and fouling monitoring system, combined with various temperature and pressure instruments, which can comprehensively detect the working status of the condenser.
What are the main data outputs
Air leakage: Continuously monitor air leakage, and the system can take action before its value increases and affects back pressure. Timely feedback has reduced air leakage, and the changes in air leakage are related to other aspects of the power plant. This is extremely helpful for troubleshooting
Total mass flow rate and actual volume flow rate: These data show the actual working efficiency of vacuum equipment in removing air and other non condensing gases, as well as the performance curve comparison between water vapor and vacuum equipment.
Water vapor to air mass ratio: This is a direct measurement of vacuum mass. The ratio of water vapor to air quality can accurately detect the point where excess back pressure is about to occur. Once back pressure occurs, the system will activate an additional exhaust fan or repair the air leak to reduce back pressure and save you money.

Promptly identify defects in the condenser configuration.
By measuring the air leakage flow between the condenser and the exhaust fan, a true reading of the condenser air leakage can be obtained. The leakage measurement between the condenser and the exhaust will generate an actual reading of the condenser leakage. The measurement at the exhaust outlet is often inaccurate due to the presence of air leakage from the sealing of the exhaust valve and the exhaust pipe valve. The measurement at the exhaust outlet usually requires the correct configuration of a manual directional valve, which can affect the reading of the measuring instrument.
The RHEOVAC vacuum leak detector monitor utilizes a multi-sensor probe (MSP) to reduce fault diagnosis time and eliminate the reliance on guesswork for fault diagnosis and elimination. MSP is composed of four sensors that can measure flow rate, temperature, pressure, and relative saturation. RheoVac is an instrument that directly measures the water vapor content in mixed fluids using a relative saturation sensor. The corresponding processor provides users with up to 10 performance parameters to monitor the efficiency of the condenser. Information can enable factory operators to accurately identify leakage points and take remedial measures.
RheoVac technology * directly measures vacuum mass: water vapor to air mass ratio. This parameter can provide early warning for the occurrence of excessive back pressure caused by air leakage. It can accurately identify the point where the backup exhaust fan is deployed or the leak point that needs to be repaired.
RHEOVAC vacuum leak detectorInsert the multi-sensor probe into the vacuum pipeline of the condenser through the isolation ball valve, between the condenser and the pump or injector. Depending on the specifications of the generator set and the layout of the pipelines, as shown in the figure, the flow meter electronic unit (header) can be located on the power plant floor or installed in the control room.
