The standard method for COD determination is the reflux digestion titration method, which has a long digestion time (2 hours), high energy consumption, high reagent costs, and low efficiency, often troubling practical operators. We have successfully developed the LB-200 COD rapid colorimetric analyzer to meet the requirements of industrial pollution source control emissions and rapid detection of various types of wastewater. The instrument can use open tube reflux heating digestion or sealed digestion method. The instrument uses catalysts and oxidants. After adding oxidants and catalysts to the water sample, it is heated and digested. The Cr6+in the oxidant is partially reduced to Cr3+, and the reduced Cr3+content is converted to the actual concentration of COD (cr) in the water sample through colorimetric measurement and regression calculation.
