Troubleshooting and Handling of Industrial 4G Remote Transmission IoT Meter Malfunctions

  1. Common fault phenomena

    • Data not uploaded: Check 4G signal, SIM card status, and communication protocol configuration.

    • Abnormal reading: Check if the current transformer (CT) wiring is loose or if there is a malfunction in the internal metering chip of the meter.

    • No display on screen: Check if the power input is normal or if the fuse inside the meter is blown.

  2. emergency response

    • Backup power supply: If the meter supports battery power, regularly check the battery level to avoid data loss caused by power outages.

    • Local meter reading: In case of communication failure, manually read data through infrared or RS485 interface.
