SVS-603HR Wave Sensor

The SVS-603HR wave height sensor is an enhanced version of the SVS-603 high-precision wave height sensor, which reports heading, wave height, wave period, and wave direction data to its onboard data logger via RS-232 or logging.
SVS-603HR features:
Extremely low power consumption; Suitable for the minimum power plan
Small space occupation; Sell in packaged or bare circuit board form
The sensor considers 3-D motion, rotation, and compass heading in all dimensions, covering nine degrees of freedom
Precise onboard electronic equipment provides almost real-time wave statistics data
Variable sample size (25651210242048 or 4096)
Shipborne temperature compensation
The onboard data logger can record up to 20 years of wave data, depending on the required output
Easy to configure to match your precise sensing rate and output requirements
Easy connection with NMEA or other configurable data output and transmitter
Sampling frequency from 1 to 8Hz (user configurable)

SVS-603 can be used to replace existing sensors, upgrade existing buoys, or forCompact buoy with wave sensing function added. The waveform data that can be used as sensor output includes:

Wave period in seconds
Wave direction in degrees
North, East, and Upward Displacement Time Series
Ø First-5 Fourier wave coefficients
Ø Wave height (Hmax)
The wave period of Ø Hmax
Ø Wave energy
Spectrum (raw or processed data)
Ø Heading in degrees
Customize output as needed
Other outputs or data operations can be merged through firmware updates or calculations of available data streams. SVS-601 power controller can also be used.
