Fluid Dynamics Control Rotating Ring Disk Electrochemical Measurement Electrode Rotating Instrument

RRDE-3A is a high-precision electrode rotator used for electrochemical measurement of fluid dynamics controlled rotating ring disks. An electrode with an outer diameter of 12 mm installed on a shorter stainless steel shaft forms a miniature concentric circle electrode system, allowing for highly precise control and adjustment of rotational speed.

The speed of RRDE-3A is electronically controlled by a proportional integral closed-loop circuit driven by a DC servo motor. The rotating working electrode used has a compact appearance and can be quickly exchanged. The device is also equipped with an adjustable valve system, which can use inert gas to blow and clean the electrolytic cell. When the electrochemical measurement starts, the airflow of the internal blowing gas pipe automatically switches to the protective gas pipe above the electrochemical cell, protecting the gas space above the solution to prevent the influence of external atmosphere on the inside of the electrochemical cell.

RRDE-3A can be manually operated and controlled separately, or remotely controlled for speed or purge gas through ALS' Model2325 dual potentiostat, CHI electrochemical workstation, Bioroger electrochemical analyzer, or other electrochemical analysis instruments.

In addition, the disassembly and exchange of the sample cup are simple, and the electrode exchange is very convenient.
