In the quality process control, the team further refines the quality responsibilities of each position, strictly implements the "self inspection, mutual inspection, and special inspection" three inspection system, strictly adheres to the process standards in each process, and closely monitors key parameters such as dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and assembly clearance. A quality inspection team is formed by the backbone of the team to conduct daily inspections of key processes and identify potential risks in equipment, materials, and process execution. During the event, a total of 16 quality hazards were identified, all of which were rectified and closed, with a completion rate of 100%. In response to quality issues such as rough sand holes, machining deformations, and scratches on mating surfaces in cylinder block processing, the team has established a special problem list, clarifying responsible persons, corrective measures, and completion deadlines, achieving the goal of discovering one item, rectifying one item, and canceling one item, and controlling product quality from the source.
The team used Quality Month as a skill training ground and organized 12 employees to participate in job skills competitions. The "mentorship" activity was carried out around weak processes and high-frequency quality issues, and technical backbones paired up to provide assistance, teaching hands-on operational skills, hazard identification, and disposal methods. Encourage employees to provide suggestions based on their positions, collect and adopt 12 rationalization suggestions for tooling improvement, process optimization, and operational norms, and implement 8 effective suggestions, effectively transforming frontline practical wisdom into quality improvement effectiveness.
Through a series of measures, the first-time inspection pass rate of the team's products has steadily reached over 99.5%, an increase of 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous period. Next, the cylinder group will solidify the good experience and practices of Quality Month into a normalized management system, continuously strengthen process control, skill cultivation, and problem closed-loop rectification, strictly control the quality of each process, and contribute to the efficient production of the workshop and the high-quality development of the company.
