ag-machIndustry NewsTwo scientific research projects of China Academy of Agricultural Machinery have been awarded funding from the Natural Science Foundation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for the "General Project"
Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region announced the "Notice on Approving Funding for Natural Science Foundation Projects of the Autonomous Region in 2026". Two scientific research projects applied by the Hohhot Branch of China Academy of Agricultural Machinery have been successfully approved for funding under the "General Projects" of the Natural Science Foundation of the Autonomous Region.
The two approved general projects focus closely on the core needs of ecological construction of grasslands and grasslands in the autonomous region
One of the projects focuses on the intelligent inspection needs in complex environments of grasslands and grasslands. In response to the problems of low efficiency, limited coverage, and data lag in traditional manual inspections, the focus is on researching wheeled inspectionsrobotDynamic characteristics of grassland, construction of stable control models adapted to grassland environment, research and development of multiplesensorIntegrating autonomous inspection algorithms and intelligent control systems to achieve grassland path planning, obstacle avoidance, and precise detection, effectively filling the gaps in intelligent management and protection of grassland ecology.
Project 2 focuses on the bottleneck of grassland mixed planting technology, aiming to address the problems of large differences in seed characteristics, uneven mixed planting and sowing, and poor seedling quality between alfalfa and smooth bromegrass. It studies the mechanism of grass seed transport and sowing under the coupling effect of multiple physical fields, innovatively proposes a differentiated series planting and mixed distribution method, and provides solid theoretical support for the optimization and research of grassland mixed planting and sowing equipment, as well as the improvement of ecological planting quality and efficiency.
In recent years, the Hohhot branch has been deeply involved in grassland ecological protection and basic research, continuously strengthening the construction of scientific research and innovation system, and steadily improving its original innovation capabilities. The successful establishment of these two projects further consolidates the scientific research advantages of Hohhot Branch in grassland ecological construction, which will effectively help Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region consolidate the foundation of building a strong science and technology region, cultivate green and new productivity, and provide strong scientific and technological support for the high-quality development of regional grassland ecology and the construction of a strong ecological security barrier in the north.
