How to operate the maintenance items of the baler
Date: 2021-12-03Read: 28
  1. Start the strapping machine
Before starting the baler, check the torque of the power output shaft sliding clutch. After maintenance and proper connection of the baler to the tractor, it should be confirmed that non operators have left the machine and the tools have been cleaned. Carefully engage the tractor power output shaft and let the baler run in an unloaded state for a period of time.
  2. Operation usage
(1) The amount of grass loaded into the baler should be consistent. The more consistent the loading of each bundle, the more uniform the grass strips, and the more consistent the length of the grass strips. If the amount of grass loaded is not consistent, it will result in uneven grass strips.
(2) The hay bundle should be strong enough and should be placed upright without deformation. For this purpose, the pressure rail of the baler can be tightened as needed. If the pressure rail is not tight enough, the number of grass blocks in the baler chamber can be increased. There are holes in the bundling chamber for installing 4 pairs of stoppers.
(3) The hay bales must be dried. If the bales are not dry enough, they will not meet the conditions for being transported by a baler trailer. Do not leave grass bales in the wild all night, as they may absorb moisture from the ground and dew.
(4) When bundling, use a trailer. After 15-20 bales are tied, stop and wait until the baler trailer is adjusted and some bales have been picked up. When it is found that the bales do not meet the required precision, it is necessary to inspect and eliminate the cause of the poor bales. After confirming that the bales are not suitable for trailer use, continue bundling but do not bundle a large amount of bales in front of the trailer. Keep the collected bales as close as possible to the back of the baler.
  maintenance
After each use, the baler should be properly maintained, cleaned, and serviced, otherwise it is likely to affect its lifespan.
After the baler and power machine are equipped, drive them into the harvested wheat field, check if the power of the power machine is in good contact with the baler, then start, pick up, and tie. After hearing the alarm, stop and increase the throttle to quickly tie the baler and rope. When you hear the sound of the rope being cut, pull the rope slightly and lift the back cover of the baler to let the bales fall into the machine. After the bales are discharged, the next round of picking can be carried out. Repeat this process until the work is completed. After use, clean the machine to remove impurities such as straw, otherwise it will malfunction and affect normal use over time.
When cleaning, be careful not to use water to clean the baler. The remaining residue after cleaning will become the source of accelerated rust and corrosion damage if soaked in water. High pressure gas can effectively remove residues in the gaps and corners of the baler; High speed and large capacity wind generated by gas or electric fans is also an effective cleaning method. However, when cleaning the baler with high-pressure gas, it is necessary to wear protective goggles to avoid eye damage.
