What are the precautions for using a heat pump dryer

The precautions for using a heat pump dryer are as follows

1、 Installation and placement

  1. Environmental Requirements
    • Installed on dry, well ventilated, flat ground away from heat sources and direct sunlight, to avoid damage to electrical components caused by humid environments.
    • Flammable gases are prohibited from being stored near the equipment, ensuring a safe distance (such as at least 20 centimeters from the wall) to prevent heat dissipation obstruction.
    • The extension of the drainage pipe shall not exceed 5 meters, and the pipe opening shall be 20 centimeters below the ground to avoid poor drainage.
  2. Horizontal and Fixed
    • The equipment should be installed horizontally, with a tilt angle not exceeding 45 degrees, and inversion is prohibited (with a built-in compressor). If placed on the side or upside down, it should be kept flat for 5-10 hours before turning on the machine.
    • Regularly check whether the base fixing bolts and supporting spring connections are loose, and tighten them in a timely manner.

2、 Preparation before operation

  1. Power and Circuit Inspection
    • Confirm that the power cord is securely connected and the voltage is stable (the power supply standard is usually 3N-380V-5Hz, with an allowable range of 342V-418V).
    • Check if the power cord is damaged or aged to avoid the risk of leakage or short circuit.
  2. Equipment appearance and component inspection
    • Check if the casing and air inlet/outlet are damaged or blocked to ensure smooth ventilation.
    • Clean the dust on the air inlet filter screen to prevent a decrease in heat exchange efficiency; When cleaning, directly remove the dust screen and clean the finned heat exchanger with a soft brush or cotton cloth to prevent water from entering the electrical components.
  3. Material preparation
    • Select appropriate trays or grids based on material characteristics and evenly lay them (such as goji berry thickness ≤ 2 centimeters, leaving enough space for clothing).
    • Confirm that the material can be dried (avoid non drying materials such as silk and cashmere), and metal accessories should be placed on the opposite side to prevent scratching the inner cylinder.

3、 Parameter setting and operation monitoring

  1. Temperature and time settings
    • Adjust the temperature according to the material: mushroom 60 ℃, silk clothing 40 ℃, fruit drying 8-10 hours, cotton clothing 4-5 hours.
    • Raising the initial wind speed accelerates water evaporation, and lowering it later to prevent excessive drying.
  2. Running status monitoring
    • Observe the sound of the device after startup (normal operation is stable, abnormal sounds such as "click" require shutdown inspection).
    • Regularly check the control panel parameters (temperature, humidity, compressor status, etc.) to ensure that they fluctuate within normal ranges.
    • When running or drying high moisture materials for a long time, discharge the grain every 2 hours for 20-30 minutes to prevent material arching.

4、 Exception handling during operation

  1. Abnormal sound or odor
    • Immediately stop the machine, turn off the power, and check if it is caused by improper tray placement, loose components, or material blockage.
  2. Temperature anomaly
    • If the temperature suddenly rises or drops, check for equipment malfunction or whether the material stacking is uniform, adjust and restart.
  3. electrical fault
    • When dangerous phenomena such as burnt smell and flash fire are discovered, immediately stop the machine and contact professional maintenance personnel. Do not disassemble it by yourself.

5、 Shutdown and maintenance

  1. Normal shutdown
    • Stop the operation through the control panel first, and then turn off the power after the device stops.
    • After drying, wait for 5-10 minutes before removing the material to avoid deformation or burns.
  2. Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Daily maintenanceClean the filter screen, empty the dust collection box, and check the safety of the power cord.
    • Monthly maintenanceThoroughly clean the interior of the equipment, wipe the finned heat exchanger, and apply lubricating oil to components such as fans and bearings.
    • Annual maintenanceCheck the tightness of screws, grounding reliability, and inspect the operating system and support spring status of the computer board.
  3. Long term discontinuation
    • Cut off the power, turn off the main switch, put on a protective cover, and store in a dry and ventilated place.

6、 Security protection

  1. Electric shock prevention
    • Ensure that the equipment is properly grounded and regularly inspect the grounding device.
    • Avoid using in humid environments to prevent electrical components from being damp and leaking electricity.
  2. Fire and explosion prevention
    • It is forbidden to dry flammable and explosive materials (such as alcohol spray) and keep away from ignition sources.
    • Regularly clean the dust accumulation in the fan to avoid friction and fire.
  3. Anti-scald
    • Avoid contact with high-temperature exhaust ports during operation, and promptly remove materials after shutdown to prevent burns caused by residual temperature.
