Maintenance Method
1. When using a silage harvester, lubricating grease must be added to both bearings once. After 300 hours of operation, the oil stains on the bearings should be cleaned before refilling with lubricating grease. Adding lubricating grease for maintenance and upkeep is an important step to reduce wear on internal parts of the machine and extend its service life; Clean the interior of the machine in a timely manner and check if all fasteners are loose. If they are loose, tighten them immediately. If the silage harvester is used in an outdoor environment, corresponding rainproof tools should be installed to avoid the accelerated rusting of some components due to moisture over time, which can shorten the service life.
2. Regularly check the wear of the chain. After using the hammer blade for a period of time, it can be replaced according to the rounding of the blade edges. If all four edges have been worn, a new hammer blade must be replaced. Do not wait until the silage harvester cannot operate normally before checking the blade, otherwise it will affect work efficiency and damage parts; In addition, it is necessary to regularly check the tightness of the transmission tape, and if there are any abnormalities, they should be adjusted in a timely manner.
