If seeds are not germinated, it takes a long time for them to sprout and be unearthed. At the same time, there will definitely be a loss of many seeds, resulting in a shortage and breakage of seedlings, especially in the north. Due to the late excavation and the high temperature and drying period of the unearthed seedlings, they will suffer burns and be easily infected with diseases, leading to the failure of seedling cultivation work. Therefore, using artificial climate incubators can greatly improve the germination rate of seeds.
1. Select incubator capacity
At present, the germination equipment in the market includes floor standing artificial climate incubators with fully computer-controlled temperature, humidity, lighting, and ventilation, which are used for germination, seedling cultivation, tissue culture, and periodic cultivation. The working volume is 150-1500L. As the stomata of plants are located on the back of leaves, a descending airflow method close to the natural environment is adopted, which is suitable for laboratory use.
2、 注意催芽室的湿度
Due to low humidity, seeds are difficult to germinate, and high humidity can easily rot. Therefore, artificial climate incubators are equipped with humidity control devices, which can maintain a relative humidity between 40% and 95%. The artificial climate incubator has control over temperature, humidity, and light intensity, and the temperature can be set differently day and night depending on the presence or absence of light.
3. Strive for uniform temperature and moderate lighting
Uniform temperature is necessary for neat germination. The temperature uniformity in the artificial climate incubator is ± 0.5 ℃, and the temperature non-uniformity in the germination chamber is ± 2 ℃. Due to the fact that most seeds require light for germination, germination machines generally do not have lighting equipment, and a few have medium to low light equipment. However, artificial climate incubators have complete lighting equipment ranging from 0 to 30000 Lx. The artificial climate incubator can operate continuously for a long time, generally with a continuous working time of no less than 360 hours.
Due to the fact that temperature and humidity are two important factors affecting plant growth, precise control of temperature and humidity in artificial climate chambers has always been a focus of research and development by researchers. It is also a key technology to ensure plant growth. Only by accurately controlling the temperature and humidity in artificial climate chambers can we truly reduce the impact of these two factors on experiments and improve the accuracy of seed experiments. Therefore, artificial climate chambers have very strict requirements for temperature and humidity control.
In fact, in an artificial climate chamber, temperature and humidity are not independent, but interact with each other. For example, when the temperature is low and heated, water evaporates, and the previously cooled or dehumidified condensed water inside the climate chamber evaporates, increasing the internal humidity; When the temperature is high and cooling occurs, it will cause the humidity of the airflow passing through the refrigerator to decrease, resulting in a decrease in the humidity of the entire box; Similarly, when the humidity is low and humidified, external cold or hot moisture will change the internal temperature, while high humidity dehumidification will inevitably lead to a decrease in temperature. Therefore, due to their mutual influence, it will inevitably lead to the problem of control lag, and there will also be significant issues in controlling accuracy.
Therefore, in order to achieve precise control of temperature and humidity in artificial climate chambers, it is necessary to solve the problem of large lag. Currently, the widely used method is to use separate temperature controllers and humidity controllers to achieve temperature and humidity control. However, this method uses a digital model, which has significant drawbacks, such as poor adaptability and often lagging problems. In recent years, with the development of technology, some artificial climate chambers have also begun to use fuzzy control to control the temperature and humidity of the airflow inside the chamber. This may be a good solution to meet the current requirements for temperature and humidity control in artificial climate chambers.

When transporting the intelligent artificial climate box, the inclination angle should not exceed 45 ℃ to avoid damage to the refrigeration unit.
2. Avoid sudden shaking and impact to prevent the glass door from shattering.
The artificial climate incubator should be kept away from electromagnetic interference sources and the grounding wire of the socket supplying power to the lighting box should be grounded.
The artificial climate chamber should be installed in a place that is not directly exposed to sunlight and has sufficient ventilation conditions.
The artificial climate chamber should be installed on a solid and flat ground, away from heat sources, and the surrounding environment should not be prone to high humidity.
Do not set the humidity setting too low to avoid continuous dehumidification.
The humidifier water tank should use distilled water or purified water, with a water volume not less than one-third of its capacity. When adding water, be careful not to overflow. Once it overflows or spills, wipe it dry with a cloth to prevent water from flowing into the equipment and causing damage.
The axial flow fan is located directly above Studio 8. When placing objects, do not block this fan to avoid uneven temperature caused by poor ventilation.
Before the device is idle, it is necessary to remove the water from the humidifier water tank and allow the moisture inside the device to dissipate. Before closing the box door, confirm that the box is dry.
Before moving the equipment, the water in the humidification tray should be emptied. Overflow or splashing water may cause electric leakage or shock.
Do not use sodium chloride solvents or other halide solutions to clean this equipment, as this may cause rusting.
If humidification is not required, set the humidity to 0% RH and drain the water from the sink inside the box.
If the ambient temperature is low and the set temperature is high, and the measured temperature cannot reach the desired set value for a long time, please turn the cooling capacity switch on the panel to the low position.
