The measuring instrument in the calcium carbide gas generation measuring device is a constant pressure, variable volume, and sealed measuring instrument. The measuring chamber of the meter is a variable volume cavity composed of a bell jar and a water tank with the help of a sealing liquid. The working pressure inside the chamber is adjusted to OPa by a counterweight. The constant pressure is achieved through the curve wheel and compensating hammer in the balance wheel. The sealing liquid used is NaCl saturated solution. After a certain quality of calcium carbide sample is put into an acetylene generator containing a certain amount of accumulated water, the generated acetylene gas is separated by a gas-liquid separator to remove water, and then enters the measuring chamber through a pipeline, causing the bell jar to rise.
