Pulse eddy current testing system is a new type of non-destructive testing technology commonly used to detect wall thickness corrosion and other thinning defects in pipelines and containers with coating layers (insulation layer, rain cover, thick paint layer, etc.). The detection instrument based on the pulse eddy current detection system can detect the metal parts of the equipment without stopping or disassembling the coating.

1. Obtaining metal thickness related information through pulsed eddy current signals

Based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and Lenz's law, the intensity and attenuation rate of eddy currents in metal objects are highly correlated with their thickness. For thicker metals, the attenuation rate of eddy current signals is slower, and vice versa. In practical applications, by applying a relatively intense pulsed magnetic field to the metal object being measured, the relative thickness of the metal can be measured, and the risk of thinning and corrosion in the measured area can be evaluated.

2. Convenient measurement and real-time analysis capabilities

The instrument is equipped with a high-precision encoder that can detect displacement at the millimeter level and display the two-dimensional coordinates of the sensor in real time; The imaging size and grid size can be customized according to actual measurement requirements; Multi color imaging provides a visual representation of the thickness changes in the measurement area. The flexible editing mode allows users to modify or update the measurement values of any pixel during the measurement process.
