Comparison of advantages between sludge screw pump and other types of pumps

1. Compared with centrifugal pumps, screw pumps do not require the installation of valves and have a more stable flow rate;

2. Compared with plunger pumps, G-type single screw pumps have stronger self-priming ability;

3. Compared with diaphragm pumps, single screw pumps can transport various mixed impurities containing gases and solid particles or fibers, as well as various corrosive substances;

4. Compared with gear oil pumps, screw pumps can transport media with higher viscosity;

5. Unlike plunger pumps, diaphragm pumps, and gear pumps, sludge screw pumps can be used for drug filling and metering.

G-type sludge self-priming single screw pump

Screw pumps are classified into:

1、 Single screw pump

It is a single screw transport pump, whose main working components are the eccentric spiral screw (referred to as the rotor) and the screw liner (referred to as the stator) with a double helical surface on the inner surface. Its working principle is that when the motor drives the pump shaft to rotate, the screw rotates around its own axis on one hand, and on the other hand, it rolls along the inner surface of the liner, thus forming a sealed chamber of the pump.

2、 Double and multiple snails

It is mainly composed of a liner (pump cylinder) fixed in the pump body, an active screw inserted in the pump cylinder, and two driven screws engaged with it. Three interlocking screws form a sealed chamber in the pump cylinder according to each lead, creating a seal between the suction and discharge ports.
