Scope of application:

The sponge permeability tester can be used to measure the permeability of viscous foam (memory foam), sponge and other polyurethane materials.

The size or difficulty of airflow when air passes through the honeycomb structure of a material, that is, the breathability of the material, can ultimately be expressed as a specific measurement value, which indicates the breathability of the material.

When testing, place the sample in the sample placement port of the instrument, and set the air pressure value inside the instrument through the touch screen and maintain it constant. The air flow rate passing through at this air pressure value is the permeability of the sample.

Equipment principle:

Place the cut sample at the sample placement port of the device, adjust the selected air pressure (pressure difference inside and outside the device placement port) through the touch screen, and maintain a constant air pressure during the testing process. The value obtained after the test is the flow rate of air passing through the sample, that is, the air permeability of the sample.
