This machine is mainly composed of a main engine, a hydraulic system, and a force measuring unit.
1. Host
It mainly consists of an upper beam, a column, an adjusting screw and handwheel, a pressure plate, an oil cylinder, and a piston. A movable ball seat is installed between the end of the screw and the upper pressure plate. During operation, when the bottom surface of the upper pressure plate contacts the top surface of the specimen, it can automatically adapt to the slight inclination in the height direction of the specimen, making the two planes fully contact each other, thereby ensuring uniform force distribution on the specimen. According to the size of the specimen, the handwheel and screw can be rotated to adjust the test space appropriately.
The top surface of the lower pressure plate is engraved with a positioning wire frame, which facilitates placing the specimen in the center position.
2. Hydraulic system
It consists of hydraulic pump, oil delivery valve, oil return valve, oil tank, oil filter, and oil pipe.
The hydraulic pump is an axial five plunger ultra-high pressure pump, driven directly by an electric motor. A safety valve is installed on the oil delivery valve, which can overflow in case of overload to ensure safety. Manipulate the handwheel of the oil delivery valve to adjust the amount of oil entering the cylinder to achieve the desired loading rate. Open the return valve to allow all the oil in the cylinder and from the oil pump to flow back to the oil tank.
3. Force measuring unit
It mainly includes measurement and control systems, printers, and pressure sensors. (Please refer to the attached "RFP-03 Intelligent Force Measuring Instrument User Manual" for details.)
