Product Details

The four ball machine is a commonly used experimental equipment for evaluating the performance of materials under friction and wear conditions. It is mainly composed of four spheres, with three spheres fixed and the other sphere applying pressure and friction through rotation.

In the test, a certain load and speed are applied between the tested material and the rotating sphere, and appropriate lubricants or test fluids are injected. By rotating the contact between the sphere and the tested material, the friction and wear process in a real working environment can be simulated.

Through it, multiple parameters can be obtained, such as friction coefficient, wear amount, wear morphology, etc., to evaluate the wear resistance, lubrication effect, and friction characteristics of materials. These data have important guiding significance for material selection, lubricant optimization, and product design.

1、 Main purpose:

The four ball machine mainly evaluates the bearing capacity of lubricants under point contact pressure conditions in the form of sliding friction.

2. Including three indicators: no card bite load PB, sintering load PD, and comprehensive wear value ZMZ. The microcomputer controlled four ball friction and wear testing machine can also perform long-term anti-wear tests on lubricants and measure the friction coefficient.

3、 Structure description:

(1) The testing machine consists of a spindle drive system, an oil box and heater, a test force sensor, a friction force measurement system, a hydraulic loading system, a microcomputer control system (including units for setting, controlling, and alarming various main parameters), and other components. They are all installed in a frame with a welding machine base as the main body.

(2) The upper right corner of the machine base is the panel control system of the testing machine, and the upper left corner is the spindle drive system, oil box, friction pair, and various sensing instruments. The lower left part of the machine base is the hydraulic cylinder of the testing machine, and the upper right part is the toolbox. The lifting tools for the testing machine are placed inside. There are cover doors on the front, back, and left side of the machine base, which can be opened to clearly see its internal structure for debugging and maintenance.
