Float valve

Float valve, flow limiting valve, throttle valve, also known as automatic sewage interception device, is a valve that uses float lifting and regulating. Our company has independently developed a self controlled sewage interception product by absorbing domestic and foreign technologies. It is made of 304 stainless steel material, with good corrosion resistance and long service life. It mainly uses the principle of buoyancy to achieve initial rainwater interception. 3. Working principle

1. Sunny state

On a sunny day, all the water in the inlet is sewage, and the water volume is small. The water level in the well is low, and the float valve plate is in an open state under the action of gravity. At this time, all the sewage flows into the sewage pipe network through the opening of the float valve.

2. Early stage of rainfall

In the early stage of rainfall, the flow rate at the inlet gradually increases, and the water level in the well also gradually rises. At this time, the float, under the buoyancy effect, drives the float valve plate to gradually close the sewage interception pipe mouth. At this time, the initial rainwater also flows into the sewage pipe network through the opening of the float valve.

Late stage of 3 rainy days

As the rainfall continues to increase, the water level inside the well rises further. At this time, the float drives the float valve plate to completely close, thereby avoiding a large amount of rainwater from entering the sewage pipe network. The diluted water is discharged from the drainage outlet inside the well.

4 Rainfall ends

As the water level in the current merging pipe drops, the float drives the float valve plate to gradually open and return to its initial state.

4. Instructions for use

① Applicable working conditions

1) The current situation of combined sewer interception in residential areas, roads, river discharge outlets, etc.

2) Initial rainwater interception under merging and diverging conditions.

3) When the sewage level is too high, prevent sewage from flowing back into the rainwater system.

4) When the load on the sewage pipe is high, lower the flow rate to avoid a large amount of rainwater from impacting the sewage system.

② . Function

1) When the water level in the rainwater well rises, the float valve plate is driven by the float to close the sewage interception pipe, preventing a large amount of rainwater from entering the sewage pipe.

2) Under normal circumstances, the float valve plate is opened, and the sewage in the merging pipe enters the sewage pipe through the float.

3) The height of the float can be adjusted according to the different sizes of the rainwater and sewage mixing pipe and rainwater pipe to meet the usage functions of different wells.

2、 Performance parameters

The float valve is a complete integrated equipment that does not use mechanical devices. It uses water level, buoyancy, and gravity to open and close the interception pipe mouth of the float valve.

The valve plate of the 2-float valve operates in a rotating motion.

The sealing surface of the float valve is in direct contact with the valve plate, which can prevent debris from getting stuck on the sealing surface.

3、 Installation instructions

⑴. Preparation before installation

1. Check whether the dimensions of the sewage interception well and the layout of each pipeline match the construction drawings.

2. The float valve is installed on the vertical surface of the sewage interception pipe and attached to the wall. The facade wall at the sewage interception pipe mouth should be smooth and even, and any that do not meet the requirements should be repaired.

3. Float valves need to be installed vertically.

4. The switch action is sensitive and must not withstand additional resistance or gravity.

5. There should be a 220V AC power supply available on site (convenient for drilling holes).

The following tools or equipment are required before installation:

Lifting equipment (ropes can be used for lifting DN200~DN400, cranes are required for lifting DN500 and above), impact drills (220V power supply should be provided on site), expansion bolts, hammers, adjustable wrenches, hex wrenches, glass glue or cement, and lighting equipment is required for underground operations.
