The combination of absorption method and activated carbon adsorption method, in which the exhaust gas is first treated by secondary absorption and then treated by activated carbon adsorption to improve the absorption efficiency of the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas enters the purification tower and rises uniformly to the first stage packing for absorption. The absorbed acidic gas continues to rise into the first stage spray section, and then the gas rises to the second stage packing section and spray section for a similar absorption process as the first stage. The absorbed gas is then purified and discharged through a set of activated carbon adsorption devices.
