Recently, the New Materials Institute of China Agricultural Machinery Academy successfully won the bid for two projects, "Coating of a certain component" and "Coating of a certain non-standard component", from the Atomic Energy Institute. The project task focuses on the preparation of coatings on the surfaces of key component materials in extreme environments, requiring high temperature insulation, radiation resistance, and high radiation performance, and forming small batch supply. This bid has opened up a new track for China Agricultural Machinery Institute to innovate and provide services for the preparation of complete sets of extreme environmental new materials.
Since 2021, the Institute of New Materials has continuously carried out technological innovation and key process research around the extreme working conditions of the nuclear industry environment.
