Achieving a historic breakthrough in the field of agricultural machinery testing in China

Agricultural machinery and equipment are the "national key tools" to ensure national food security, and testing and certification are the "passport" for agricultural machinery products to enter the market and participate in global competition. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is a highly influential intergovernmental international economic organization. The tractor testing rules formulated by OECD are recognized as authoritative standards in the global agricultural machinery field. After obtaining its certification, test data can be exchanged and recognized among all member countries, and products can obtain market access without repeated testing. This not only significantly reduces export costs for enterprises, but also effectively breaks down international trade technical barriers and clears core obstacles for domestic agricultural machinery to explore the global market.

This consecutive two-year global summit marks the first time that China's agricultural machinery testing capabilities have achieved comprehensive leadership in the global core certification system, providing strong localized support for Chinese agricultural machinery enterprises to "go global".

As of 2025, the center has completed approximately 190 official OECD trials of tractor models, serving major agricultural machinery manufacturers across the country as well as emerging overseas markets such as Southeast Asia and South America. By 2025, the number of central experimental projects will far exceed that of traditional agricultural machinery powerhouses such as the United States, Germany, and Italy, forming a significant leading advantage for similar institutions in Asia. At the same time, the center actively participates in the drafting and revision of international standards.
