In the spring of March, good news spreads again. Recently, China Agricultural Machinery Academy's affiliated China Machinery Tenth Institute International Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China Machinery Tenth Institute") successfully won the bid for the EPC project of facility agriculture in Jilin Agricultural Development Group's modern agricultural industrial base. This project is an important practice in implementing the strategy of developing modern agriculture in Jilin Province, and it is also another benchmark project of China Machinery Tenth Institute in the field of facility agriculture in the cold regions of Northeast China.
The project is located in Nanzhong Sheep Farm, Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, with a total area of 252.09 acres and a total construction area of 61533.64 square meters. The project construction content is rich and diverse, covering 57 solar greenhouses, as well as supporting facilities such as cold storage, water and fertilizer control center, and agricultural observation center. We also simultaneously built an integrated water and fertilizer system and a digital control system, laying a solid foundation for the intelligent operation of the project.
The project is based on the unique climate resources of cold regions and innovatively adopts a double-layer structure solar greenhouse. This greenhouse has excellent insulation and heat storage performance, perfectly integrated with intelligent environmental control system, forming an efficient and energy-saving operation mode. Even under harsh conditions of extreme low temperatures in winter, there is no need for additional heating, significantly reducing operating costs. After the project reaches full production capacity, it is expected to produce 1.197 million high-quality peony fresh cut flowers annually, and can accurately control the market launch time, achieving stable supply to the market from winter to early spring.
In terms of operation mode, the project adopts an innovative model of "joint venture operation+technical cooperation", committed to creating a complete industrial chain integrating seedling breeding, standardized production, post harvest processing, cold chain logistics, brand marketing and other links. In terms of market expansion, we will focus our products on the export markets of East Asia and Southeast Asia, and make every effort to build an export-oriented global sales network, actively promoting our products to enter the international market.
The successful implementation and execution of this project will effectively promote the optimization and upgrading of the agricultural industry structure in Jilin Province, set a benchmark for the development of characteristic facility agriculture in cold regions, and provide successful experiences and development models that can be referenced.
